(OOC) Planescape: Intrigue - RERECRUITING

So, ENWorld auto inserts words "naughty word". Who knew?

Apologies, I realise Sky has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works. But:
  1. I just don't see him abandoning his best (only?) lead so far.
  2. I cannot see scrambling over broken rooftops as safer than staying on the ground.
If the two groups do ending up going separate ways, I suspect Tempered will manage to convince Sky to head to the palace once he has found the Plague Doctor. Assuming that he can find the Doctor, and that the Plague Doctor does not have a better lead. So shouldn't be two hard to reconnect the groups.

Im fine either way...assuming we even know the way back...backtracking seems counterproductive and we had a guide so I'm not sure how much we were paying attention. I'm not sure who has food so I imagine our group doesn't want to wander longer than necessary.

edit: and to be fair, Orris doesn't reall ywant to climb buildings...even if it was my idea in the first place.

If the Plague Doctor is not particularly relevant to the game, i am happy for you to just narrate the encounter and be done with it. You find the PD but he (she?) knows nothing of interest, or the PD is gone with no indication as to where. Sky can then switch his attention to helping the others get to the palace.

No worries. The Plague Doctor is someone you've got a legitimate reason to follow up with, so I'm happy to play it out. I also don't intend to turn getting there into a long side trek. I've got a post ready to move the group forward together.

@Nordom I'm preparing a post but I want to use Divine sense:
The presence of strong evil registers on your senses like a noxious odor, and powerful good rings like heavenly music in your ears. As an action, you can open your awareness to detect such forces. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity (the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, for instance). Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the hallow spell.

If Orris detects anything nearby and, more specifically, if the ichor pings, he might mention it in the post I'm writing.

@TaranTheWanderer Divine Sense doesn't register anything from the ichor. Orris isn't detecting it as celestial, fiendish, undead, consecrated, or desecrated.

I'll DM you separately with some thoughts on your earlier question about how Orris experiences his paladin abilities, because I've been thinking about that too.
