The kobold rogue who was Belkar's "evil duplicate" back in the first Linear Guild storyline.

Was there anything in the storyline to suggest a rogue? I assumed a ranger, since he was designed as Belkar's counterpart.

Hmm... I thought I'd remembered Yikyik explicitly sneak attacking Belkar (strip #48). But going back to look at it, while it's indeed a stab in the back, it's not identified as a sneak attack per se.

So I guess he could indeed be a ranger. I just always thought of him as a rogue.

Anyway, point is with Yikyik, he ended up as a hat. Messy.

I loved this one. Although, as is required by Nitpicker's Law, I am forced to point out that, counting "Hello Roy" from the previous comic, Nale used 26 words in his first casting of the sending spell. ;)

Demiurge out.

You sure? I'm only counting 23 before he winks out. With the two from the last strip, that'd be 25...

Dammit! In my haste, I miscounted. I will let my mistaken post go unedited, so that my superiors in the Nitpicker's Society can see the truth of my error...

I especially love how Nale's standing on a pile of used scrolls by the end of the strip.

Demiurge out.

Considering that I've seen numerous players write out their "25 word messages" for that spell, I wonder how many drafts are in that pile? ;)
