I wasn't sure how it was going to go starting on the 4th, but that was the best Wednesday I've ever had at the con. There were some problems but crowds starting to swell a bit near evening and today with luck should be a lot of people. I got to play a card game, a board game, and a session of QAGS met up with some out of towner friends who come ever year and had some fun but none of the people from EN World. I did meet some locals that I did n't know and might be adding more gamers to out local gaming pool. Their is a board game room that one can buy a ribbon for and just go their to play board games. It is a local organization and a nice place to go when one has free time. I and some friends were shown a game but a nice young woman who was the cliche of a sorority girl. She was dressed in pink, said "like" and "oh my god" way too often and was singing some pop music to herself. She looked like she stepped out of Legally Blonde. Nice person and she kicked our newbie butts but just not the type of person one expects at a gaming convention. The Role playing session was a rules light game called QAGs. We were a paramilitary organization that fights monsters. We went after killer cockroaches in New York and the DM, another woman, is freaked out by cockroaches. So, she's go into this gastly detail of the bugs and then give herself the creeps. She was one who goes for vivid detail and the cockroach breeding program with humans was so horribly descriptive that I can't post it here for fear of being banned. That was the light day of the con. Today I go to0 play the new Changeling, Scion, and True20 Freeport. If you are at the con find me or post here and we'll try a meet up. Origins is a really great Convention!!
