I'm not going to be as rude as a certain other poster in a certain other thread, but this has not had the impact on me that others have talked about. At most it simply reminds me of the event that did have this sort of impact - the Challenger disaster. Maybe its because I already had my moment where the dream was shattered, maybe its because of the differences in the events (Its hard to express the amount of anticipation and symbolism that went into the challenger launch... I was in the grade range that they chose the teacher from; I remember reading the "nominate your teacher" letter.) But for me its a tradgedy observed, not expereinced. Where were you when...
