Message: <blockquote data-quote="Schmoe" data-source="post: 173753" data-attributes="member: 913">Woohoo!  The Avalanche won, even though it took seven games and not six, like I predicted.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />Thank goodness it's over.  I was really worried after the way the Kings manhandled them the last two games.  Having Milan Hejduk made a huge difference, and Chris Drury is a hockey GOD!  Seriously, he is the most clutch performer in hockey that I have ever seen.  In the second period, the tension and pressure of the game just seemed to build and build, until I was completely caught up in it.  When Drury carried the puck halfway down the ice, faked out one defenseman and jumped through two more, and then managed to somehow chop the puck over Potvin's shoulder to score, I was so excited that I yelled at the top of my lungs without even knowing it.  What an incredible feeling.  I swear to god, it was better than sex.Well, the Avs were shaky at times, but Patrick was definitely "on" tonight and saved their bacon more than once.  It also didn't hurt that the Kings were hobbled with injuries.  I just hope that Colorado can make it through what is sure to be another grueling, physical series with San Jose.  Vive la Hockey!</blockquote>
