OT: Scarborough Renaissance Faire

I'm just wondering if anyone else is going to this Ren Faire in Waxahachie, TX. It opens the weekend of April 10 & 11, yeah I know that's Easter, and running every weekend through to May 30 plus Memorial Day. It'd be nice to meet some fellow EN Worlders.

We're going opening weekend, finally a trip for relaxation with no obligations to family. It's been a long time since I had one of those.

Hey Alaric, Bree and I will definitely be going, but we aren't sure when yet. I wouldn't mind going a couple of times this year since we missed it last year, maybe we can meet up on opening day.

That would be great! Especially to meet someone of your prestige Will, it would be an honor. I hope to meet you there. Not that I want to speak for anyone else but I've communicated with another EN Worlder and we'll try make plans to meet at the Faire.

I didn't have much choice of weekend because her spring break starts then and she has classes again on the 19th so the second weekend is out as are all the other weekends till the end of her school semester, but that's another long story why May is out for us. Actually it good for my work too. The opening weekend just happens to be the best weekend for both us to go to the Faire.

I will also be there opening weekend with my wife and a group of friends, most of whom are gamers.

I'll more than likely hit it at least once this year, seeing as how it's just a few minutes' drive from my house. Not sure what weekend I'll be going though.

I'm planning on going. I live in Arlington, and I'll probably head down at least a few times.

Looks like tomorrow is going to be a great day, rather than the cold storms that the weather had predicted. If it's great tomorrow morning we'll be heading down there.
