Solid workout, was 176 at the gym.

Not in a place life wise for any kind of 'lets embrace stability and focus on gains'. Life is just chaos at the moment and honestly the backslide is getting tiresome.

Workout was good, keep plugging away at the house, I'm not getting weaker, and came out looking quite pumped. Going to need to get some sun. :LOL:

I definitely feel this, but I also think there's something wonderful about it: as chaotic as life can be, the gym brings at least a little order. Sometimes it doesn't have to be about the gains but instead about just getting in and getting it done.

I've always loved the notion of tilting at windmills, though! :P
 

I hear that. My schedule/frequency has been crap lately, and I can feel some strength losses. But when I do get in, it still has mental benefits even if physically I'm at best maintaining.

Its a huge help for sure in having a bit of stability in life, but on the other hand for me personally once things begin to disrupt it (missed day) or cause my recovery to falter, which may have happened as I contemplate doing Legs today, then it begins to cause problems for me.

I'm pretty happy with things right now in terms of my development, but there's always the "it could be even better" floating in the back of my head, if that makes sense.

172 on the dot this morning, had a great nights sleep after a really poor night Monday night so we will see if the Legs happen today.
 

Upper:
4 sets wide grip chest press
4 sets close grip chest press
4 sets wide grip shoulder press
4 sets close grip shoulder press
4 sets bicep curls
4 sets hammer curls
4 sets revserse grip bicep curls
4 sets across the body hammer curls
4 sets spider curls
4 sets lat pull downs

Lower:
40 minutes on cycle
4 sets inner hip abductors
4 sets outer hip abductors
4 sets gluts


Lots of water and lots of cocaine as well.
