At Gen Con
  • 13 Omens made its public debut at Gen Con. It's a rule-lite horror game by Jason Bulmahn. We've talked about this game here before. There's a special preview edition of the rulebook you can get at Gen Con, along with an adventure and special dice. The main book comes out on Kickstarter on October 13th.
  • Impossible Magic is also newly available. Four new Pathfinder classes, new archetypes and arcane schools, and hundreds of new spells and magic items.
  • Bastion of Blasphemies is a hardcover horror-themed Pathfinder adventure path for character levels 5-15.
  • For Starfinder, Absolom Station: Center of the Galaxy has just released. This is a hardcover overview of one of the most important locations in Starfinder. It comes with a poster map of the station.
  • There's a new novel, Assault on Absolom Station, by Tim Pratt, a sequel to Era of the Eclipse.
  • Pre-released at Gen Con in advance of it's actual September release, is Pathfinder Dice Gods, a new board game.
Later This Year

  • Secrets of the Swarm for Starfinder is an adventure path in September for levels 6-10. Also includes 6 new ancestries.
  • The Dead God's Hand is a 1-7 Pathfinder dungeon crawl by Erik Mona and is a campaign played at Paizo for years finally making it to publication. This comes out in September.
  • Tech Core is the fourth Starfinder core book and contains rules for tactical starship combat, 2 new classes, 3 ancestries, feats, gear, etc. coming in October.
  • Lost Omens: Cheliax Infernal Inheritance is in October, looking at Cheliax after the events of the Hellfire Crisis. There's also a poster map archive for it in November.

  • Feybound comes out in November. It is about the Yestereve Revels, and is all about fey characters and campaigns, with new player options, ancestries, monsters, and more.
  • Also in November is a high-level (level 11-20) adventure path called Vaultlines for characters with Darklands ancestries. The Darklands is kind-of Pathfinder's version of the Underdark.
  • There's some kind of Lovecraftian horror adventure later in the year, linked to Paizo's 'Printables' line of miniatures.

Looking Ahead to 2027
  • Previously announced Lost Omens: Unseen Worlds (January), Legacy of the Forge (February), Waking Tigers adventure path (March).
  • The Starfinder 2nd Edition Beginner Box is in May. Four classes, 72-page player book, 88-page GM book and adventure set on a funeral starship. Plus dice, handouts, and pawns.
  • Lost Omens: Saga Lands comes out in May. This is the area where Pathfinder started getting the hardcover treatment. In June is a poster map archive for it.

  • Invaders from the Dark is a 1-10 Pathfinder adventure path in June set in Numeria. This is the "alien invasion of Golarion" and brings in Starfinder rules showcasing the compatibility between the two games, complete with a player's guide.
  • Invasions Edge compilation for Starfinder Society in April and Chronicles of the Pathfinder Society adventure anthology in July.
  • Sometimes around Gen Con 2027 is Starfinder Galactic Arsenals. Factions, corporations, equipment, spells, player options, monsters, starships.

  • Pathfinder Tome of Dungeons, also at Gen Con next year is a dungeon-themed sourcebook. It has three sections: Delvers, Dungeons, and Denizens. The first is player options, the second is dungeon biomes and ideas (ice dungeon, puzzle dungeon, etc.), and denizens is monsters. Also two new character classes--the daredevil and the slayer, and new ancestries including an awakened ooze and a gargoyle.
And that's a basic overview of the Paizo Keynote. For more detail you can watch the video below!

I watched this last night. I'm super excited for all the Starfinder stuff - the core rulebooks, the adventures, and even the starter set (even though my table is currently doing their first SF2e with Murder in Metal City)

For Pathfinder, I'm putting lots of those adventures on my "to buy one day" list since I don't have a table that plays PF. However, the Numeria one could be a SUPER FUN crossover for my SF2e table. I'd have to debate whether to let them know what's going ot happen. Part of me hopes that the Player's Guide keeps the tech in Numeria aspect a secret. (I know it's known to any Pathfinder fans, but for bringing in newbies I think it could be a fun surprise/reminder that Fantasy and SF used to have less defined boundaries in the past)

I definitely like that they're going full Neon-Futurism for Starfinder through everything.

Worried how it will handle Avantris' Neon Odyssey material as competition in the 5e space.
I think the answer is - Paizo won't worry about it? They already "ignore" D&D in the Fantasy space. Based on the way people talk on reddit and here, it seems the average TTRPG person is ride or die for one system or the other. (Makes sense from a money/time investment point of view)

I will definitely raise my hand as an outlier. I really enjoy 5e fantasy and there is a TON of 3rd party material for it. But I love the science fantasy niche of Starfinder, so I'm running that, too. Plus I run Cosmere for a group of Sanderson-heads. And I got Pirate Borg on sale and would love to run some one-shots or short campaigns there. Oh yeah! And I recently played DCC and I'd love to also do some short campaigns in that system.

Yeah. D&D is a hundred times bigger than Neon Odyssey and Pathfinder has done just fine for 20 years.

My hope remains that people will take the Neon Odyssey setting and port it into other systems. It would be amazing if Avantris and Paizo made a deal for an official port, but that seems unlikely before like 2029.

I'm with SpellObjectEnthusiast (what a screen name!); unreasonably excited for Invaders from the Dark. And this is a guy who has sold almost all his PF stuff except the Inner Sea Gazeteer; and sold all his Starfinder stuff. But I LOVE Paizo's APs, so I'll probably pick this one up - at retail prices no less from my FLGS!

The Dead God's Hand is based on material from Erik Mona’s office campaign, and was announced back in July 2019. The pandemic and lots of other things have delayed it for seven years.

I have been collecting Paizo’s Flip-Mat line of battle maps, and for a while they were making Flip-Mats specifically for some of their adventures, before abandoning that approach. Their online store has had a placeholder entry for a two-pack of maps for The Dead God's Hand for several years now. I must admit I had given up on ever seeing the product, so I am glad to see that they finally reached the finish line.
