Partial Form Change Feat

I may be wrong on this but I thought I remembered a Feat that allowed a creature/character with the alternate form special ability to change only a portion of his/her body. I've looked around but I can't find any. If anyone knows of such a feat could they give me the source. Or, if I've been sniffing glue again just let me know.

Aside from the Warshaper Prestige Class in Complete Warrior, the closest I've found to this is a feat named 'Spirit of the Beast' in the Animal Ancestry article in Dragon #313. The feat allows lycanthropes to access the natural attacks of their hybrid form while in their humanoid form.
