Specifically we are meeting at an apartment almost right at Little River and the Beltway, every Wednesday night from 7 to 10 pm. If you are interested we are currently about half-way through the Serpent's Skull Campaign path and recently lost a couple gamers to new job opportunities. Gameplay is casual rather than hardcore while not having a lot of tangents or pauses, it's not hack and slash so there is actual RP and diplomacy, mature themes are used for story purpose when appropriate. We have a mix of guys and gals, but are going down to a DM and three players who are business professionals with lives, so the rare sick or emergency overtime will kill the game without new blood. As the DM I'd love to hear from anyone interested to join a session on a test basis and can provide more details than the general fact that the group is 9th level and serving as chaotic good/neutral research/scouts for the Shackle Pirates faction, which is already off reservation from the standard assumptions of the campaign path, they never make it easy for me which keeps it interesting for me :D One last warning, they found a huge crocodile and one party member managed to make friends with it, so to warn all the other pirates when it is around (because it only likes one party member and definitely not the party support NPCs) they had enchanted a small metal ball with hooks they feed to the croc with ghost sound, it now tick-tocks so all the pirates know when it's around. Seriously, I just about died laughing when everyone agreed that was too funny not to do. We like to have Fun ;) character driven story arcs are the best as long as everyone is engaged. Hope to hear from you.
