Pen and Paper review PFRPG

PFRPG will always be Palladium Fantasy for me as it has been for the past 25 or so years.

But great to see some reviews coming out fast for Pathfinder.

Sorry to disappoint! is PalFRPG a d20 product ? :)

Why, yes, the Palladium Fantasy Role Playing Game is a d20-based system (just not that d20-based system). Also, the abbreviation "PFRPG" has been used to refer to the Palladium Fantasy RPG since the mid-1980s ;)

Darn. I read that thread title and was all geared up for a Palladium Fantasy Role Playing Game review. :(

Why would anyone review Palladium FRPG? We all know it has been the *perfect* RPG since it was published (at least according to Kevin). Five stars out of five, and no need for any revisions or errata! ;)

A D20 not the d20 ;)

maybe I should use PfRPG? :p

As to reviewing older products, well I would call that a 'thorough' review, you know having played it for 20+ years!

Only the first edition was perfect. They borked it good with that Revised edition. Second edition isn't even the same game. :D ;)

Pathfinder RPG (Final Rules) - Pen & Paper Games

Wish I had a copy ;)

Short and not many spoilers, nice links to the official previews. I think the author has a really good point about 'callouts' for changes. For those of us who had gone to 4E, even with an explicitly different system, we would still default to 3E rules... and find they don't quite work!

oooh, I could have used more spoilers. For movies, don't spoil it, for rpgs, give me all the details!
