"Boomer" means something entirely different when you're talking to a Navy guy: ballistic missile submarine (and those who serve on them). I've worked with several of those types of boomers.

Continue to be honest. Seems silly, but I made a commitment to never intentional mislead, lie, or take advantage, even if it was for a "greater good", and life has been so much simpler. Also tend to be surrounded by better people.
