Then I'm little surprised, unless you emailed them rather than checked the forum. That was very busy and responsive early on. If you emailed them, that might have gotten you nowhere on rules questions, but then, II'm not sure I've ever seen a game company be particularly responsive there.

I was briefly active on the website, especially during the campaign. I got some good advice on building the major NPCs.

I probably asked for guidance on my problem there as well, but can’t remember.

In HERO and D&D, I’ll game the systems not to break the game, but rather in order to design unusual but fun characters that are still effective. In one long lasting game group, the other players called those “(My RW name) Characters”.

I started with HERO with Hero I/II/III, and you learned to be extremely, uh, "creative" with limitations and such, to eke the most possibly effectiveness out of 225 points. That extended to HERO 4th/5th/6th edition, just because it became so ingrained a habit. I still remember the two guys who came to the convention with their BYO Champions characters. As soon as the session started, one announced, "I crack the Earth!" then the other, "I extinguish the Sun!" Sure enough, they'd been very creative and built powers to do that. I congratulated them, booted them from the table, and restarted the session with two fewer players...

Listen, I don't even read your posts. I see who commented, assume I know in exactly which way you're wrong, and then issue an exhaustive correction based on what I assume. I can't possibly read all 50,000 posts I respond to every day, it would be too physically taxing, but the sheer volume of people doing things differently than I is both shocking (how can so many people be so wrong?) and daunting. Or it would be daunting for a lesser gamer. Fortunately, I am like the Bodhisatva of RPGs, generously willing to delay my ascension to Nirvana to assist the lesser beings in attaining a similar state of satori.
