Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

There's something wrong with this but I can't put my finger on it.....

Finally found a cauliflower crust frozen pizza at my local Wally World, this morning. Going to give it a try for dinner tomorrow night. Not big, not thick, but the whole thing shouldn't spike my blood sugar. Of course it'll be getting more cheese. There's never enough cheese.

I got my 40 hours for the week...now it's time to resume work on my Pumpkin Spiced RPG entry. 🎃 I should have it posted in the next few days... since the deadline was extended, I want to polish it up a little more.

...assuming I can focus on polishing, and resist the temptation to add more stuff...

Decided to post this here, instead of in a certain other thread.

Maybe I'm a total outlier. Maybe I'm just plain wrong. Maybe I'm a rapscallion ne'er-do-well scoundrel. But I've never...not once, in 40+ years...played an RPG completely as-written. I've always made adjustments, house-rules, omissions, and substitutions to fit my own preferences and the preferences of my players. And I've played dozens of games with dozens of people.

And you know what? Everyone had fun, myself included. Nobody ever got electrocuted, burned, insulted, or sued.

Life is too short to let someone else decide how you should have fun.

And to extend the pineapple pizza metaphor...

I like pineapple on pizza. As such, I think it's reasonable for me to:
  • Eat pineapple pizza.
  • Buy pineapple pizza.
  • Tell someone I like pineapple pizza if they ask.
  • Start a popular website about pineapple pizza where other like-minded folk could hang out or read the latest pineapple pizza news.
  • Politely decline to eat other pizza if what I really wanted was pineapple pizza.
It's not reasonable for me to:
  • Insist that all pizza have pineapple on it, even pizza I'm not eating.
  • Go around to the tables at the pizza restaurant and tell people their non-pineapple pizza is bad.
  • Bring up the topic of pineapple pizza when no one is talking about pineapple pizza and then go on at length about it.
  • Suggest that people who say they don't eat pineapple pizza are deluding themselves or lying about it.
  • Go to a community all about non-pineapple pizza (or even pizza in general) and evangelize about pineapple pizza like it's my job.
  • When people ask for non-pineapple pizza recipes, I say "Just eat pineapple pizza! You can take the pineapple off if you want!"
