New three-pack of Kickstarters announced for this summer:
Limithron said:Ahoy!
We are thrilled to announce, not one, not two, but THREE DIFFERENT PIRATE BORG PROJECTS coming to Kickstarter this summer. We're calling it PIRATE BORG: Boarding Party!
Three companies, three projects, one purpose: bring the Dark Caribbean to your tabletop!
Westfalia is making hand-sculpted miniatures (both printed and STLs), WIRD Games is creating a Pirate Borg-compatible skirmish game based on Forbidden Psalm, and yours truly is proud to present a hefty box filled with 100+ dry/wet erase battle maps plus a new PIRATE BORG encounter book written by Joseph R. Lewis!
All three project are followable right now.
Limithron's Pirate Map Collection
For the past six years, Captain Limithron's been hunched over his table, carefully detailing over 1,000 maps set deep within the Dark Caribbean. This July, we'll be printing our favorite 100+ battle maps along with reusable sticker assets and bundling them all into one massive trove!
But you'll be needin' some more encounters to go with 'em...
- Box Collection of 100+ Dry/Wet-erase, Fold-out Maps
- Ships, Sea Monsters, Ruins, Shipwrecks, Beaches, Taverns, Temples, Docks, Forts, Hide-outs, Caves, Cabins, Shacks, Shops, and your very own ASH Den
- An array of sizes: 8.5x11", 8.5x22", 17x22", and even 34x22"
- Dozens of reusable stickers for cannons, boats, treasure, and more
- 100+ Page PIRATE BORG Encounter Atlas, a GM adventure toolkit

So, we're also creating the PIRATE BORG Encounter Atlas. Top-of-the-line RPG designer Joseph R. Lewis has been filling a book with 100+ encounters, hundreds of tables, and maybe even a short adventure or two, with each entry specifically inspired by the maps featured in the box.

PIRATE BORG MINIATURES
Official PIRATE BORG sculpts, handcrafted by the Westfalia Miniaturescrew. Their stunning work has already led to expansive lines for MÖRK BORG, Trench Crusade, and upcoming Deathbringer. We're starting off with a faction loadout for Skull Bay Skeletons, Class(less) Pirates, and a Barrel o' Zombies, plus the Stretch Goals are absolutely infested with Red Coats!

FROM THE DEPTHS BELOW Skirmish Game
A Forbidden Psalm Skirmish Game about deep sea horrors, pirates, spiffy hats, and THE END OF THE WORLD. In From the Depths Below, you play as a crew of five, headed up by your Captain, working to stop (or start) a world-ending event as the THING FROM BELOW RISES. So shiver some timbers, walk the plank, and other pirate terms inserted here. Come join the crew!
Played on Limithron battle maps, explore the Dark Caribbean in a fast-paced, deadly miniature skirmish game:
If you're unfamiliar with Forbidden Psalm or the general concept of Skirmish Games, here's a brief overview:
- 150+ Page, Stand-alone, Miniature-agnostic, Core Book
- 13 Scenario-long Narrative Campaign
- Rules for Versus, Co-Op, & Solo Play
- 40+ Monsters & New Relics, Treasures, Weapons, & Equipment
- Fully Compatible & In Cahoots w/ PIRATE BORG (andForbidden Psalm)

- Skirmish Games: Combat-heavy tabletop games where each player controls a handful of characters, with fairly tactical play and often narrative-based scenarios.
- Forbidden Psalm: Small-squad skirmish game, based on MÖRK BORG and fully compatible with the RPG, and centered around various campaigns. Your warband will be gaining injuries, flaws, loot, and experience as they progress!
None off that speaks to me, personally, but the encounter atlas sounds interesting, if it's sold separately and the maps are printed in the book and not just listed as "see map 12" or whatever.
