I'm looking for players for a game in which the protagonists of the story are child geniuses who design mecha. I will create the child characters and assign them to you; players will only design the mecha. I'm looking for mecha more like those in Cowboy Bebop / Outlaw Star and less like those in Gundam / Voltron. Spaceships, not robots. Classes will be the BESM versions of the d20 Modern core six. The rules you need are free from the BESM website; lemme know if you need them.
Players in this campaign should be prepared to draw and share stuff. You don't have to draw well, but you need to submit images of your designs. Designs that become favorites will receive the "professional treatment."
To be honest, I mostly just wanna design and draw magic spaceships and have them fight... But there will be kids-in-an-elite-power-school stuff going on too, a la Harry Potter. Imagine Radical Ed (Cowboy Bebop) and Jim Hawkins (Outlaw Star) at a Hogwart's "Space Camp", taking classes from Vash the Stampede (Trigun) and Exedor (Robotech/Macross).
I know this is kinda out there; anyone interested?
