Aid Another checks are one of the areas in which you are specifically barred from Taking 10.

So, why would you allow it?

That being said, I break the rules to allow Taking 10 for things like week-long Craft checks, so long as the aider is trained. This is mostly because I don't want to deal with the book-keeping and because it so rarely matters anyway.

Aid Another
You can help another character achieve success on his or her skill check by making the same kind of skill check in a cooperative effort. If you roll a 10 or higher on your check, the character you are helping gets a +2 bonus to his or her check, as per the rule for favorable conditions. (You can’t take 10 on a skill check to aid another.) In many cases, a character’s help won’t be beneficial, or only a limited number of characters can help at once.

Actually, mods could you delete this thread since I realize now my basis for the question was pointless? I remember that I was thinking about take 20 when I first posted this.
