Okay, Here is the problem: I can't remeber how to do Point buy for charcter creation and my DMG for 3.5 was stolen along with my friends stuff. I know a basic spread is 25 points but after that I can't remeber and none of this is in the SRDs.

Cost to gain one more point = Minumum of(bonus provided by the score -1 or 1)

Thanks, been so bloody long since I used point buy, and Me getting ready to start back into school, and having several books stolen all kinda spreads one thin.

All stats start at 8. It costs one point to raise a stat every point up to 14, two for 15 and 16, three for 17 and 18. So, a stat of 16 costs 10 points (six to go from 8 to 14, two more to get to 15, and two more to get to 16).

The 'standard array' is a 25 point buy with the following stats: 15 (8 points), 14 (6 points), 13 (5 points), 12 (4 points), 10 (2 points), and an 8 (0 points). Racial modifiers are applied after point buy.
