Prestige Ranger Feats

I've just started a new campaign, in which I allow pretty much every official 3.5 book.

One of my players has decided to go for the Prestige Ranger from Unearthed Arcana.

Reviewing the PrC, I noticed it doesn't mention the armor restriction for the bonus TWF/Ranged Combat feats that the Base ranger has.

Is this an oversight? Is it errata'd somewhere? Or is this intentional?

Thanks in advance.

*BUMP*

Seriously? No reactions at all?
No opinions? No references to charop threads that misuse this fact for super builds? No comments of people stating 'this is why I ban this book'?

At the very least, I would have expected a reference to the SRD pages containing the prestigious classes....

All in all, I still do not have any idea whether this is an oversight, and a second question has come up:

If you take the ranger prestige class, how would that combine with feats like Swift Hunter?

I believe it isn't an oversight. Instead, you get to use those bonus feats with every armor you care to wear. If you're a Ranger-y high-Dex type, you won't be wearing heavier than light armor, anyway, since it's rather pointless. And the Prestige Ranger is intended to be a little more generic and usable in all kinds of builds, so they didn't see it as necessary or fitting to include the armor restriction.

There're no super builds based on this around mostly because, frankly, it isn't a super ability. It's just a few bonus feats, and you get to use them without restrictions. Just as if you had gotten them using regular feats. No biggie, really.

Swift Hunter wouldn't combine with Prestige Ranger at all, at least by RAW. But I de believe that you could just change all references to the Ranger class and Ranger levels in the feat description to include Prestige Ranger as well with no harm done. Not that it would make for a very powerful build or anything.

there is no errata for UA, except for the 2nd ed one in dragon 103. the web enhancement also sheds no further light on the matter. take it as it reads.
