Question for a new feat

Bastoche

The feat I have in mind would allow a character to cast mage hand as a sorceror of the same level a certain number of time per day. Would it be balanced to allow it 2 times per day but with an effective radius of 30ft instead of 15?

I dunno? It will be an ancestor feats for an OA campaign. À la "jedi using the force to fetch his light saber".

So the pre-req would be to be from a clan, to be taken at first level only. Maybe wis 13?

I think its pretty cool. I think any combat related feat that isn't just another way to increase attack rolls/damage/armor class is pretty neat.

I think I might make it once per day though. Or maybe once per day per wis mod. I don't see any problem with making it 30ft.

After reading the spell description: it would be cast as a 1st caster level only, so a max range of 25ft. And the possibility to move the object for 25 ft instead of 15.

look at this...

There is a '1st-level only' feat (FRcs) called 'Magical Training'.

If your intelligence is 10+ (and you are from halruaa), you can pick three cantrips to cast (each once per day) as a wizard equal to your arcane spellcaster level (minimum 1st level). Although arcane failure still applies when you are using armor.

/////////////////////////////////////////

I'm sure you could pick 'mage hand' 3 times.

Actually, you don't have a choice of cantrip for that feat. You get mage hand, daze and dancing lights each once per day.
