Question related to "Nasty Evil Scheme"

An Anarchic, Axiomatic, Holy or Unholy weapon gives a negative level to the wielder if they're of the wrong alignment.

Does the 2nd level Clerical spell, Align Weapon do the same thing?

If so, that spell is the trigger for the D&D version of the Nuclear option.

Scary...

No, align weapon only makes a weapon chaotic, good, evil, or lawful. It does not bestow the anarchic, axiomatic, holy, or unholy property; it is these properties that bestow the negative levels.
