Is there a limit to the number of Hiveminds you can create through the Dark Speech feat? Thanks guys

You forget that upon enetering hivemind you become a mindless construct and don't have constitution score anymore....

Huh? He was asking about creating a hivemind, not entering one. Besides, only vermin and certain animals (nothing with more than 1 hit die) can enter a hivemind. How many 1 hit die vermin and animals do you know of that can meet the prereqs for the Dark Speech feat?

Oh, you mean for the game... One. The verminlord says you may creat "a" Hivemind. I read that to be one. Especially since it discusses his vermin servant and he joining the Hivemind. I would leave it as one, but cewrtainly if you were to take the class into Epic levels it would be fine to create more than one.

Except you don't have to be a verminlord to create a hivemind.

Except that we know of no other way. (Do we? I didn't get through the book yet. Very good stuf so far)

But the Vermin lord must be part of the hivemind he creates. Thus he can only have one a a time (or be one at a time).

I guess your Dm has to decide other ways to create some. And if more than one can be ceated at a time.

Umm... you can use the Dark Speech feat to create a hivemind, you don't have to be a Verminlord and within the Dark Speech description, it gives no limit to the number of hiveminds you can have (other then your Con score).
