Reading RPG Blogs

I read a lot of RPG blogs to get ideas for adventures, campaigns, and "DM tips". I want to experiment with my style, my presentation, and essentially continue to improve my game.

For me, I read a lot of them, but right now the one who is standing out right now that has a lot of good ideas is Musings of the Chatty DM.

The reason why I like this is that there are some good ideas on adventure prep and Sandbox campaigns, and a good psychological piece on gaming groups that are in various stages of development similar to team-building.

What blogs do you read and why do you like it (them)?

Oh... I read a ton of blogs. The google reader is great for that.

I've also got this addiction to the rpgbloggers network.

I agree on the whole chattyDM thing.

Off the top of my head, two I gotta read, are Ogre cave, and Quest for Fun! but that is doing a lot of the others I read a big disservice.

I occassionally check out I Waste the Buddha With My Crossbow, but most RPG blogs seem to be devoted to bitching and moaning, which I can do without.

I agree on the complaints. I always want a blog that helps me do a better game though an occasional rant is funny.

Aside from the one that I work for, I really love Critical Hits. It is a good mix of advice and some entertaining personal stuff. They are up for an ENnie this year and I think it is well deserved.

Chatty DM is great too.
