Other than the WotC one. Show me your favorite sheet (please).

My onyl requirements are that it be in PDF format and is 3.5 Ed compatible. Thanks!

My favorite PDF character sheet for 3.5 is the SSA-X2. You can find it here: SSA-X2.

It's indispensable to me now, even if characters saved in it take up quite a bit of disk space (especially casters).

The More Better Indispensable Character Formfolio is completely form-fillable and if you do not have the full version of Adobe Acrobat so that you can saved filled in forms, you can now do that easily with an alternate pdf reader program from Foxit that you can download for free. The Formfolio has a two-pager for regular characters along with a blank spell book form, spell sheets for each of the standard casting classes, summoning charts, journal pages, and more. All that you can fill in, save, print out, and update easily as the character changes and advances.

Thanks guys. I forgot all about Ema and Mad Irishman, two 3.X classics.

The other ones were cool but probably a bit too involved for my tastes (I'm more of a pencil and paper kind of guy).

Thanks all!

Does anyone know of a simple "single page" character sheet for D&D? Or is it too difficult to capture the necessary basics for D&D characters on a single page now? I use a stat block right now instead of a character sheet, but if I could do it all on a one-page character sheet (sans spell list, of course), then I'd be pretty happy with that, too.

With Regards,
Flynn

Not as such, but for the Worldwide D&D Gameday I did some pregenerated characters that are each on a single sheet. Those pages could be edited easily enough to replace the details of the characters.

There's actually not too much missing - XP, gold and encumberance spring to mind - but I wouldn't like to use that format for characters much higher in level than those for the WWDDGD.

I made my own 3.5 sheets that are color coded and everything fits on 1 sheet (except for spells). It even has a familiar/animal companion stat box :)

The link is in my sig.

I make my own. This is version 5 or 6. It's got everything I want on one sheet of paper. Check it out. Comments are welcome. My sheet design is constantly evolving/improving. (Just ask my wife! :D )

I use Ema's spell sheets though. The dynamic sheets are simply made of awesome!

I do my characters up in the DMG2 style statblock. It's soooo much easier to run.

Can you or Vegepygmy post one of your character stat blocks? I'd like to see a complete PC as a stat block- to get an idea how usable it is.

Well I had been using the sheets that Necromancer Games had created (sometimes I like to throw a 1st Edition look at my players and throw them all off) but now that I've taken a look at Ema's, I'm never going back!

Word of warning: last I checked, the form filling add-ons cause Foxit to crash in Vista.

Strange. While I do not use Vista myself, I know some others who do that have had no such problems. Can anyone else confirm this or could it be something else that you (Psion) have by way of configuration or elsewise that is causing this? In any event, I think I will continue to shun Vista for a year or two as with all new OPs until others work the bugs out.
