I'm looking at building a TWF character using a template that eliminates TWF and off-hand penalties, allowing full iterative attacks with each hand (SKR's two-headed mutant).
I'm not looking for debate on whether the template is broken or not
What I'm trying to decide is which weapon to specialise in to take best advantage of this feature.
I've narrowed it down to four:
1. Bastard Sword. 1d10 damage, no attack penalty, 1 feat required.
2. Monkey-Gripped Greatsword. 2d6 damage, -2 attack penalty, 1 feat required.
3. Monkey-Gripped Falchion. 2d4 damage, -2 attack penalty, 1 feat required, nasty threat range w/ Imp Crit and Keen.
4. Monkey-Gripped Duom. 1d8 damage, -2 attack penalty, 2 feats required, threatens 5' and 10' range.
(I'm ignoring Scythe, Spiked Chain, and Greataxe, 'cos I just can't picture it
)
Bear in mind that I can't afford any Burst enhancements yet.
