Repurposing absorbed spells

Spellfire lets you absorb spells and re-use the energy absorbed. Spellthieves can do likewise. There may be other ways to do likewise.

My question: can this absorbed spell energy be used in conjunction with the abilities granted by feats like Arcane Strike and Infernal Sorcerer Shout, etc.?

Not unless it gives you spellslots.

It depends on the ability, some say you need to expend a slot or just a spell. A Spellthief actually can cast back the spell stolen as the caster it took it from. Arcane strike doesn't say you need to expend a slot so stealing a spell and using it for this viable, so long of course he can steal it. He would need to have at least six levels of it to qualify.
Spellfire would not though as it no longer exists as the spell when you absorb it just is read as x amount of levels to determine how much you can take in. Spellfire doesn't allow you to cast it back as the spell. It just lets you use it for spellfire abilities.
