Is there a resident evil enemy in the trailer?

One thing I’m worried about and it’s happening with some above horror movies recently is based on the trailer there’s nobody that can die. We have our main character and unlike a walking dead show there’s no attachment to characters. It doesn’t matter if he goes down the creepy hallway etc

I love the Resident Evil games and I even love the OG Resident Evil movies. All of them. Even the dumb ones, you ask? No. Especially the dumb ones.

I am also psyched out of my mind for this movie.

I can't think of any current horror writer/directors I am willing to give a bigger benefit of the doubt to at this point than Zach Cregger. Not even Jordan Peele. Barbarian and Weapons were that damn good.

I’ve just bought Resident Evil 9 this morning. It’s one of those games I play with my boyfriend which always engages us. I think because it’s fun to watch and to play.
