Ikni, cursing herself for succumbing to the temptation to use a ranged weapon, moves forward, staying balanced and alert. Bemused, Derien steps into Ironheart's leafy green fortress. One foot tapping dispite himself, he looses another arrow. This time the eladrin sees the arrow coming and knocks the projectile aside with his blade. Haruka stands and brushes herself off. "If we want a challenge?" she asks with a voice much more suited for a courtesan than a cultist. "Have you already forgotten that you started this? Such mercurial creatures, you fey." She calmly walks through the warped branches that bend and twist out of her way. As she does so, she is surrounded by a shroud of shadowy tendrils that spread through the air like ink drops spread in water. Haruka's lips move, but no sound comes out. Instead, a howling torrent of black and red flame erupts from her fingertips and engulfs the winged creature. Haruka winces in pain, and then smirks as the fires from her previous attack flare up again. With a wordless bellow, Ironheart stomps across the bridge, recklessly swinging his axe at the hapless eladrin who chose to challenge him. The wood woad's large weapon is easily parried by the skilled fey swordsmen. "You'll certainly need to do better than that" it taunts, keeping the focus on him. Rhole is knocked forcefully to the ground, though that only messes up his song momentarily. While refusing to cease playing, the gnome rolls onto his knees a little distance away and pitches the music in a crescendo that impacts one of the eladrins dramatically. “Obey the Beat!” The overconfident swordsman feels his confidence and resolve shatter as if he had soiled himself. He becomes a slave to Rhole’s music and stumbles towards its source, only to find his footing sending him straight into the river. The eladrin falls onto his back, the river washing over him and pulls him even further downriver. He shakes his head and then focuses for a moment as he disappears from view, appearing next to Ironheart, his blade at the ready. The other swordsmen rushes around the rock and moves towards Ironheart, he stabs the warden and his blade elongates and wraps around him, locking Ironheart into place. The other brings his blade down and slashes a piece of bark from the wood woad. The archer sees that situation under control and draws a pair of arrows, nocking them at the same and letting them fly at Ikni. Trails of fire are left in the wake of the projectiles as they both hit the genasi in the chest. The harpy flies to the edge of the river and opens her mouth. Surprisingly, a soft, melodic song emits from her, even overcoming the powerful jam from Rhole, it reaches out to you, calling for you, and all but Rhole heed the call. The gnome's heard better.
