The project includes cartography from Dyson Logos. If you want to create dungeons that are mazes, this book has all of the rules you’ll need.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Cubicle 7 had one of the best-selling 5e projects of all time, Adventures in Middle-earth (AiME). While that intellectual property has moved on, they still have 5e projects. First, they’re developing Victoriana 5e. Second, kickstarting now, Vault 5e: Uncharted Journeys offers a different takes on your 5e game, this one focuses on journeys. If you played their AiME, this reads like it is the travel system made into a module addition for your 5e games. If you’re looking for fantasy journeys and encounters, this project is worth exploring.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Want to write better adventures? M.T. Black, author of “fifty platinum best-sellers [via the DMsGuild and DriveThruRPG] and over a hundred thousand book sales,” has has a book of advice. What’s better, this is the second edition where he’s added additional thoughts and better direction. This is twice as long as the first edition, as he shares what he’s learned over the years. If you want to write better adventures, this is worth checking out.
HEROES OF CERULEA – Pixelated Dungeon Crawl Tabletop RPG from Bläckfisk Publishing

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Want to play a lo-fi RPG inspired by The Legend of Zelda? This RPG manages perfect pixel art and the right feel with video game logic (healing from food and smashing pots for their contents). Using d4s, you’ll play as heroes using this 80 page core book. The layout and cover looks like a Nintendo cartridge which, with the pixel artwork, makes this a great option to have. Check out the campaign page for a free preview.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? At DragonCon 2022, I talked to Jodi Black of Pinnacle about this project. They sent a preview of the book and it’s going to be an excellent addition to Deadlands. This is the sci-fi arm of Deadlands, you are frontierspeople in space, inhabitants of a world that the Reckoners are coming to make a literal dead land. At 96 pages, this hardcover is the first of three plot point adventures continuing the “Reckoner” arc from the core Deadlands: Lost Colony book. You get new crunch in the form of ships, edges, and hindrances. If you’re a fan of Deadlands: Lost Colony, give this Game Changer campaign page a try.
Spawn Point: RAW Mechanics + Zombie Apocalypse + Ukraine from Greg Stefaniuk

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? If you’re looking for a grounded system with real world or fantasy options, Spawn Point offers a core rule system and two setting options. First up, you get the core rules as its own book. Second, there’s a zombie apocalypse setting to play in. Lastly, and the reason I am checking this project out, is its take on the Russian invasion of the Ukraine. This undeclared war drives the concepts and narratives behind the 50-page Spawn Point: Ukraine campaign setting. Since this looks at a tragic current event, it will not be for every gamer. However, if you’re looking for an original system set in our world, this may speak to you.
