- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Graham is one of the best GMs I’ve ever played with. At Origins Game Fair 2021, his session of The Excellents lived up to the game's name. When I learned about his RPG, I was ready to try it out. What follows is a shared GM experience of pastoral horror, and an interesting RPG experience. Winding dirt roads, creaking fields, dirty white clapboard siding, forests that block out the sun, and the dread that you’re lost, far from the world you started in. Using a system that focuses on tone, this RPG promises a slice of old Americana that never was. If you dig country horror, this zine is worth exploring.

In this issue’s case, monsters. Over 28 pages offering everything from new monsters to loot to the monstrous death generator. The zines feel old school, giving 5e a great OSR feel.
