Freebies and Pay What You Want

Well it would be odd if I started off my EN World column on RPG freebies and didn’t mention the free roleplaying game from EN Publishing. Morrus created an entirely free game Lifepath that, as the title suggests, uses a lifepath character creation system to quickly make characters with a full character builder for both fantasy and science fiction.

On DM’s Guild, for those who thought that Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos needed a bit more emphasis on the “chaos”, BonusActionRainbow gives us an updated Wild Magic Surge table specifically tailored for the campaign setting including a rollable table meant for the Foundry VTT plus guides for both players and DMs for using the supplement.
  • Price: Pay What You Want (Suggested: $0.95)

I’m just going to copy the description for the iJug supplement on DM’s Guild from Steph Bowen: “Legend says a mage once had a brilliant idea of squeezing a Beholder into an Alchemy Jug! This item, and the subsequent smear on the wall, is the result.”

I like the Lifepath thing. There are a lot of attempts to make 'standard fantasy game but with fewer rules so I can do storytelling instead of number crunching', and this one allows for a variety of characters and is broad enough you could use it for stories as well as games. Well done!

It looks like the D&D sale is "up to 40% off" what is available for more of a discount than that?
Several of the third-party OGL products were discounted from over $1.00 to just a few cents. You'd have to dig to find them because there's no "sort by discount" option if you're just looking for the highest discounts.
