Issue #0 - The Fishmonger's Secret by Grim Games Zine
Issue #1 - The Last Isle of the Dread Legion
Issue #2 - The Colour Out of Space
SYSTEM: Shadowdark
PRODUCT TYPE: softcover supplements
RETAIL PRICE: $22 each
DESCRIPTION: The Fishmonger's Secret is an eldritch horror adventure for low level PCs. The Mayor’s son has vanished on the night of his coming-of-age celebration. Inside the Fishmonger’s hut, an ominous hatch is found leading deep into the earth. The Mayor frantically enlists the PCs with promises of gold and glory to go forth into the unknown depths of the Shadowdark and attempt to rescue the Mayor’s son. Includes “Doom” counter rules, suggested outcomes for lawful and chaotic choices, as well as new monsters, monster variants, magic items, and expanded carousing table that really benefits bards. The PCs’ vessel crumbles in the face of storm and rock, and they are shipwrecked on The Last Isle of the Dread Legion surrounded by a multitude of corpses, wreckage, and ravenous snout-faced monstrosities scrounging for loot. A warband of Dread Legion orcs hold the island in Ramlaat's honor. Unlucky seafarers who wash up here quickly find themselves on the menu if they can’t win the day in battle. Also includes tables for random encounters and rumors, an optional achievement table, an alternative carousing table with expanded range, four magic items, and a magic boon. In The Colour Out of Space a glowing meteorite strikes an arctic mountain mine like several ships laden with blasting powder all detonating at once. Not a single soul can express the nauseating hideousness of the alien colour now pulsating from its depths. When the brief light of the Arctic day finally breaks, word spreads of many missing miners who failed to return. The boomtown elder asks the PCs to investigate the crash site at the mine, rescue any survivors they find, and dispatch whatever evil there may be. Includes two classes: the Alchemist and Barbarian, new class abilities for Fighter and Thief, an alternative carousing table with expanded range, magic items, spells, and monsters.
