RPG Print News – The Smurfs RPG, Paranoia, Troika!, and More

The Smurfs RPG, Paranoia, Troika!, Voidheart Symphony, Netcrawl, dungeon maps, and dice this week.
What a time to live the TTRPG lifestyle. You can now play as Smurfs or decadent sci-fi adventurers in baroque and set in the old ways worlds. If that isn’t enough, you can also serve the Computer as a Troubleshooter, inhabit a hacker fighting through cyber-dungeons, and play normal folks opposing the man in the mundane world and in a nightmare castle. There are also a well-illustrated book of maps and more dice. Can’t have too many maps. Or dice. Or Smurfs. Or ancient demons haunting cybertech.

Note: RPG Print News covers recent RPG releases and some classics, reprints, and sales available from retailers. It does not cover products that are available directly to customers only as print on demand.

Honestly 🤔

I'd be highly entertained by something like "Smurf Sun."

SMURF SUN
The planet has long been broken -drowning under a swollen, dying sun.
In a world where sorcery has withered the oceans and ruins of a lost age pierce the red desert sands like broken teeth, survival is a cruel joke with a harsh punchline.

Yet, deep within a jagged, irradiated canyon of calcified fungi, the last enclave of an azure-skinned race clings to existence. They are the True-Blue, a diminutive tribe of humanoids clinging to hope as they fight against an unforgiving world of cosmic horrors, techno-barbarian raiders, and the looming threat of their own genetic decay. Despite the bleak and darkening world around them, they exist as a point of hopeful light, sharing song and survival in their small community.

The fragile peace of their hidden village shatters when the skull-shaped ziggurat of Gargamel the Defiler spews forth a swarm of black-winged, chitinous predators to plunder the tribe’s moisture-cistern.

With slow dehydration weeks away, a desperate band of survivors are sent out by their elder, 'Papa,' away from the safety of the mushroom shadows and into the trackless, blistering wastes -carrying forth hope into the bleak wastes as part of their quest to bring back clean water and survival.

These tiny adventurers must cross a dying continent where mutations are a way of life, sorcerers bleed reality for power, and every giant predator wants to paint the sand with blue blood.

Will they forge a future out of the dying dust, or will the red wastes claim the last of the True-Blue?
