RPG Print News – Vaesen, Castles & Crusades, Liminal Horror, and More

Vaesen, Castles & Crusades, Liminal Horror, Traveller, Colonial Gothic, and D&D 2014 all get support. And there are more dice.
So many amazing RPG supplements this week, a couple of which have been covered in interviews (referenced below). Three have great Halloween vibes as well. Vaesen gets a haunted city with adventures and a large map, Liminal Horror gets a box set of six pamphlet adventures and the base rules, and Colonial Gothic has a book with Lovecraft underpinnings. Castles & Crusades gets flights of angels to offset the unclean, and Traveller gets a new sandbox setting awash with pirates and raiding aliens. There is a new jungle setting for Dungeons & Dragons, and finally there are a couple of interesting dice sets out.

Note: RPG Print News covers recent RPG releases and some classics, reprints, and sales available from retailers. It does not cover products that are available directly to customers only through Kickstarter or as print on demand.

The first edition of Colonial Gothic was fantastic. We had a lot of fun playing this supernatural horror game set amidst the terror and bloodshed of savage warfare in a colonial landscape. I haven't seen or played this edition, but the setting and concept are both really solid-- I'd recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about it.
