Run while flying?

Does the movement rate for flying work just as a creatures normal movement rate?

In other words, during it's turn, can a creature with a flying rate of X, make a double (fly) move of 2x? What about a running (fly) move of 4x?

A creature with a Fly speed treats aerial movement just like ground movement, within the limits of his maneuverability. (See this chart.) It can double-move, or take the Charge or Run actions.

Someone using the Fly spell, or an equivalent magical effect, cannot run (because the spell says so). He can still double-move or Charge.

Note that charging or running can only be done in a straight line, even when airborne.
