Complete Adventurer has the Bloodhound, a neat Ranger/tracker PrC; The Shadowbane Inquisitor, with a few changes for a Ranger instead of the Rogue class, would make a great PrC for this one as well - just call it </p><p>"Righteous Defender" or the like and it's pretty viable (maybe some skill changes, the rest is fine).
