Secondary Damage with Hellish Rebuke?

Is the secondary damage (the "If you take damage, roll 1d6+Con") considered a separate damage roll, that gets damage modifiers added to it, or is it just part of the first, or what?

In the sense, would various feats, implements, etc, add to the secondary damage roll or just the first?

The rider effect applies a damage roll all its own. You apply implement, feat, etc. bonuses to each damage roll separately -- but you also apply resistances to each separately, so it's not purely in the player's favor.

So would the Warlock be able to apply curse damage to this as well?

Alright. That's what I wasn't sure about.
That was errata'd in: originally, you only had to damage a cursed foe to trigger your extra die. This made Hammer Rhythm a solid option for the Hexhammer, since he'd either deal [w] + Str + Curse, or he'd deal Con + Curse (at Paragon, that's Con + 2d6, so his miss damage was about what you'd get from a greatsword on a hit).
