(Semi OT) Traditional gaming foods...

What I am wondering is what is the traditional gaming food for your group?

Our group traditionally (the last several years) has a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie that I bake, but this is going to be branching out into other cookie types.

So what are your traditional gaming foods?

chip and (insert dip here), pizza!. i also like to cook, so my group frequently gets verything from salmon to flan to baked spaghetti to chili to ghoulash(spelling on purpose)

I've made these a lot for my regular table:

Chinese BBQ Steamed Buns. They're really popular.

Hummus is also popular, and it's cheap to make which is an added bonus.

the cooke's tale...

wonderful question! it got me searching the web for historical recipes, which i've been meaning to do anyway. came up with a lot of sites long on scholarly study and many digital collections of original texts in latin, old german, etc [not at all my strong suit]. however, if you're feeling ambitious here's a four course meal in the Chaucerian style, with recipes.

"stubbel goos with percely" looks much more mouthwatering than you'd guess!

Pizza (Closed Crust, Chicken and Cheese... a local favorite)

Doritos (Ranch flavored)

Sushi (Both from a resturaunt and homeade, depending on where we game... I make great sushi, but other places, we order out.)

Grilled, skewered, teriyaki meat (Chicken and Beef both)

For drinks

Dr. Pepper, Ramune, Calpis, Water

The most common foods around here.

Sometimes sloppy joe, fixed in a huge pot, if I'm feeling too lazy to do meat or sushi, and the game is at my place.
