Kobold Press openly embracing Shadowdark is interesting. A major publisher producing material for the system on a regular basis is pretty huge.

I was thinking the same. I wonder if they'll start to publish things for it (outside of their single adventure).

I am guessing their current PDF is a trial balloon. If it's well-received, I suspect they will.

If nothing else, a bunch of game designers playing Shadowdark at lunch every week are going to be generating ideas for adventures and other content, even if they aren't trying to.

Is anyone else planning to do a thing for the Appendix N game jam? I missed it last year so I'm in with both feet this year, even it it messes with my overall design schedule a bit.

Good lord, yes. The thing I did last year is my favorite thing I've ever done. Tremendously excited for this year.

And the secret Western Reaches stretch goal has been achieved: Kelsey and Jessee are having a baby. IVF has worked and they've got a 15-week old baby girl forming.
