I realize I am probably going to get laughed at for asking this, but I've wracked my brain to try and figure out what SRD stands for, and I cant figure it out :-)

System Reference Document. It's the online rules for the game that allows publishers to legally write compatible projects. There's an Announcement at the top of this forum; check out the links in it!

Oh - and welcome to the boards. :)

Thanks Pireatecat :-)
So from what I've been reading am I to understand that wizards is going to release most or all of the 3.5 info in this forum? for free? that seems a tad odd

I am quite familiar with the D20 system. And the open gaming license as a concept. As I'm not a writer or publisher I dont pay huge attention to the legal aspects etc. I just keep my eyes open for new and interesting source-products and gaming information. Obviously from context I realized that when people talked about SRD they were refering to something wizards put on the internet with information...I just wanted the exact meaning of the abreviation, and a few details.
