Silver Shadow & Resistive Formula

The Avenger Utility power, Silver Shadow, grants THP to the character activating the power, and also grants that character concealment until the character has no THP left.

The Artificer class feature, Healing Infusion: Resistive Formula, grants a character +1 AC, which can be ended as a free action in order for that character to gain THP.

So, if, say, I have 14 THP from SS, and get hit by attack attack which deals 17 damage, can I end the +1 to AC from the healing infusion, in order to gain THP, in order to extend the concealment SS grants when one has THP? That is, can I add those THP before my actual THP total reaches zero?

You never add THP.

If you are ever granted THP, check how many THP you currently have. If the new hit points are more, you now have that many THP. If the new THP are less, then nothing happens.

You'd be better off taking the 3 damage, and then end the Resisitive bonus for new THP.

I know THP don't add, so maybe that wasn't my question?

The power doesn't state that you gain concealment when you have THP. It states that you lose concealment when one no longer has THP. Which sounds to me, that if you reach zero THP at any time, then you lose the concealment for good? Not that you gain the concelament back if you get new THP?

So, is there any way I can use resistive formula to prolong the concealment effect if I run out of initial THP?

It is part of the answer to your question.

The power doesn't state that you gain concealment when you have THP. It states that you lose concealment when one no longer has THP. Which sounds to me, that if you reach zero THP at any time, then you lose the concealment for good? Not that you gain the concelament back if you get new THP?

That's how I read it.

So, is there any way I can use resistive formula to prolong the concealment effect if I run out of initial THP?

Only if, in the example you gave, you can get enough THP from ending the AC bonus to not get past 0 THP. So, if doing so grants you 18 THP, you're golden... else I don't see a way.
