After seeing a video of her dead mother, Lois goes to the Fortress to make a fateful decision. Meanwhile, Clark and Tess investigate a mysterious orphanage tied to Tess' past, and confront the headmistress, Granny Goodness, and one of her wards, Harriet.

Hmm, guess that begs the question of whether Lex (or the writers) knew about Tess' parentage.

But hey, Granny Goodness, the Female Furies, Desaad, and Glorious Godfrey, albeit very little of the latter two.

I was wondering how they were going to introduce the God of Evil's supporting cast.

I found this episode yet more proof that Clark just charges into situations. Does he have Night blindness when it comes to Kryptonite? I know he used his super hearing to hear the young girl crying, buit it beggars belief that he didnt also use his X RAY VISION to look for where she was. THen he simple strides around and still dosnt pick up the Green K on his Radar?

The Hand claws were far too Freddy for my liking .

I think the character Im more having issues with is Tess. Is she a 'good' guy now?
