[Sorta OT] Celeberty Watch: Michelle Rodriguez likes consoles

Voneth

First Post
A friend of one of our celeb gamers Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and Furious, Resident Evil: The Movie and the upcoming Blue Crush) said it was awesome to star in the RE movie since she is a fan of cosole game while she was being interviewed on a South Florida morning radio show.

"Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Cube, I got them all," she said. "I don't like sports games that much."

When asked if she perfered more outrageous action such as being able to do armor car heists and "kill" people in console games like Grand Theft Auto she responded with "Hell, yeah that's what console game are about, relieving stress. And then I go rob a real armored car, yeah riiiight."

If we get many more up and coming personalities that divugle that they are into "geeky" activities, we'll have to have a new fourm called "Celeb Watch." :)

OT of your OT, but OnT the Vin stuff ... ...

I saw Vin on Leno last night. Originally I was rather surprised that Vin might be a dork, but listening to his interview, I understand. He grew up in an art community, his mother was an artist, and he seemed to approach acting from an artist's POV. He's a passionate person about it, and rather geeky in his language use, but underneath you can tell he's got one of those personalities where he's comfortable talking to just about anybody.

What really clued you in was when he said: "I'm not a hobbit, y'know, I don't look like one, but I lived in a hobbit-hole." The reference sounded older than the movie ... so anybody that read The Hobbit and LotR as a kid and still uses it in every day conversation is cool with me.
