Spell like abilities question

Hi, I am thinking in a new character and one idea crossed my mind. Can a drow fighter qualify for the archane archer prestige class with only his spell like abilities for the "abilility to cast first level spells" requirement.
Or for the arcane duelist prestige class if I decide to go for a melee oriented character.

Yes, if you can rcially cast 1st leel spells, as an arcane caster, then unless a PrC specifies you have to be able to do so <b>as a CLASS ability</b>, you qualify right away -- on THAT point, at least.

You still have to meet skill, BAB, feat, and other requirements, of course.

Spell-like abilities are not spells.

A gnome casts spells. A drow has spell-like abilities.

SLAs don't qualify you for Arcane Archer.

Hypersmurf is correct. A spell-like ability is like a spell, but it is not the same thing.
