OK, that trailer makes me feel a lot better. Strong Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man vibes and it looks like, yep, the big cast of villains is mostly just showing Spidey doing his thing, and that the real threat is something else. (Mordrun? Venom? Mysterio?)

Is it just me or does his suit look like the one from the 70's TV show? I just watched a documentary where they explained as cheesy as that show was the stunts were very real and dangerous. As far as this movie is concerned, I'm not sure what to make of it, from the trailers and news Ive seen and read. I hope it's not like Sam Raimis Spider-Man 3 that I thought suffered from too much going on and too many villains. Regardless, I bought tickets today for an early July 30th matinee screening, so I guess I'm locked in.

I have not gone to the theatre very often even since the pandemic was "over" and now suddenly there are like four movies for me to see this Summer - Masters of the Universe (already been), Toy Story 5, Supergirl, and the new Spider-Man.
I don't blame you it's so expensive these days. I guess it kind of always was. Up until my 20s I used to go to the theater all the time. It was just something to do to kill time and have fun. Now if I go once or twice a year that's a lot. And... I'm pretty sure the Pandemic if over. Sure, the COVID-19 virus is still out there but not as much as it was. At least as far as I know or have seen.
