BUT before you do it's best we prep you for the mission ahead so today we'll be going indepth into the Adventure casebook...<a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thegrinningfrog/star-marshal" target="_blank">What is actually in the casebook?</a>In a nutshell the casebook will be your one stop shop to the Marshal universe whilst also adding to the overall game experience IF you choose to that it. We've purposely designed the game to play using just the cards this means if you want a streamlined snappy experience simply play using the deck, you will not lose out on the core game experience. But if your like me and want to get as immersed as possible into the game your playing, then choose the 'casebook event' option when drawing your next location card this will ONLY add to the adventure. Choosing this option you'll open to the page it tells you and from there pick from one of the 'events' each one usually being a two page spread; this is both a more indepth descriptions and potential characters interactions to actual gameplay.It is up to you to choose how to interact with the world we personally recommended a mix of both drawing cards and casebook scenarios to get a more diverse playthrough.52+ pages of content featuring:<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Unique events & scenarios for each game location - These are often two page spreads with detailed lore (Some locations may have multiple to choose from).</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Back pages of extended lore - On both the current adventure and the overarching world itself (May contain some information on Starship Scavengers).</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">New gear and augmentations </li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">A slip out sheet for a mystery trader that contains unique weapons - These traders can be mixed with any past and/or future Star Marshal games.</li> </ul>(This is an older version of the cards I can assure you the # are now fully filled in on our current file, do not fear!)Choosing the Interact options will lead to the casebook event. We've shown a lot of our cards throughout the past couple weeks so this time we're keeping the casebook a secret as to what they look like, the only way you'll find out is by becoming a Marshal today!
