WotC State of the Game, Darklords of Ravenloft

"Spotlight on Ravenloft: Horrors Within" or something similar.

The actual event is fine, I just don't think it's going to match the expectations set up with a "State of the Game" presentation, unless the conversation also includes "this product is the first of several going forward marking a new direction we're taking" or "our philosophy about X and Y has changed, and you're seeing the first signs of that with this product."

That said, actual big annual state of the game addresses, mapping out the current vision and how it may have changed since the last annual address, would be great.
Thank you!

I agree with this. "State of the Game" as it stands reminds me of Sony PlayStation's State of Play or a Nintendo Direct, so I expected more from this just from the title alone.

I agree, big annual addresses on the year ahead would be most welcome.

I believe we said that the next year's products would be announced at GenCon going forward.
Product announcements, got it, so pretty close to an annual address even though it is localized to Gen Con. I think a digital address would be better, but I definitely understand the impact that Gen Con has from a marketing perspective. Thanks for clarifying! :)

We do also make sure that we bring coverage of what's announced at Gen Con to the website in the form of recaps and things, but I understand specifically what you're recommending.
