Strongehart Tatoo / Bloodcut Armour synergy

Wardens have quite a lot of surges, sometimes more than can be accesses.
So my Warden has Bloodcut armour, and also has a Strongheart Tatoo.

The Bloodcut Armour minor action gives you resist damage for a round.
The Strongheart Tatoo gives you extra HP when you spend a surge.

Now if you wan to recharge the armour, you can spend a surge with a standard action to do so.

I am thinking, that when its not looking too good, and I need to use up those last surges.

That then a standard action to recharge to get more resistance is not bad, but wouldnt I also get the Strongheart Tatoo extra HP to heal me, which could be 10 HP to 15HP at the moment, as I have "Spent a surge" to recharge the armour ????????

I don't see anything in the wording of either item that would prevent this. Just keep in mind you would only regain the extra HPs, not the surge value on top of the extra ones.
 

"Extra" hit points

I would initially assume that, since you are not regaining any hit points with the surge that is being used to recharge the armor, you can not gain any extra hit points. That seems to be the general case with extra healing and damage. I could be mistaken, though.
