Stupid Criminals!

Saw this on the news yesterday, it made me laugh.

I think it was in York, a house got robbed. Electronics equipment, mostly, they stole a camera. Days later, the police found an abandoned car with the stolen goods in it. So right there, the dumb idiots just left the stolen stuff sitting around. The camera has a few pictures taken on the roll of film. So, in the course of the investigation, the cops develop it.

Dang morons took photographs of each other! So they showed the pictures, clear as day... bet it'll be hard catching those guys.

'Course, we also had a guy here a few years back rob a convenience store. He made an effort to disguise himself by covering his face. Unfortunately, that couldn't do anything about the fact that he had a basketball jersey on with his friggin' name on the back!

I love stupid criminals. I recently saw a story on the news about a guy who robbed a bunch of beer from a convenience store. The clerk asked to see his ID to make sure he was old enough to have the beer. He showed it to her. She gave him the beer. He left. She called the cops and told them his name and address.

Heard about a criminal that was almost smart...

He figured that, if the cops were busy across town, they couldn't come and catch him.

So he called 911, and told the dispatcher that a robbery was in progress and gave them an address.

He then went in to rob the store, and two minutes later, the police surrounded the place.

Seems that, instead of giving the cops an address across town, he gave them the address of the business which he planned to rob.

Oops...
