Impressive list of actors. Jared Leto as the Joker? I must say you got my attention.

Now I wonder if I have to give a damn about the Suicide Squad comics. Nah. Still, I'll probably see the film in in a theatre.

Really? I don't know about him. I never thought he was a particularly good actor. There's not really any role that I can say he was memorable in.

I thought it was odd they decided to use Tom Hardy again. He already played Bane.

I never read the Suicide Squad comics, and I'm not going to start. I'll probably watch the movie in theaters, though.

He hasn't done a lot of films really. All I can remember are Requiem for a Deeam and Dallas Buyer's Club. I never thought he stole any scenes, but I find the casting intriguing.

Yup, it's Tom Hardy. As for Will Smith playing a villain, he has done it before in Winter's Tale, where he played Lucifer. He wasn't very good. Who knows, maybe he will be better in this.

As for this movie, meh. It's DC, other than various Batman movies(not all but some), none of the stuff done for DC was really very good, with Man of Steel being a notable exception.

Yeah, DC doesn't have a very good track record with movies. The Batman movies have been pretty good. At least the recent ones have been. Man of Steel was okay. It wasn't as bad as the previous Superman movie. Still, not really at the same level as the Batman movies. Batman VS Superman should be interesting, and may be used to make an educated guess on the quality of future DC movies. I have my doubts.

In this case.... casting Will Smith I think is wrong. They did it for his name only. When I think of Deadshot I do not think Will Smith. Will Smith in a movie like Suicide Squad doesn't even seem right.

I so agree. As soon as I saw his name on the list my heart sank and seeing him cast as Deadshot has already put a big red warning sign on the movie for me. I'll not cross it off entirely until I get a proper feel, but the signs aren't good...
